When I see a patient for a procedure or visit, I do not get to choose how much it costs. I can only bill a CPT code, and the various insurance companies decide how much that code is worth. So if you have a high deductible, something I may have charged $150 for may cost you $500, and I cannot change that. I wish there were more ways to accept cash or bitcoin directly.
