This weekend - sometime tomorrow, probably, once I have my archive - I will be deleting my Twitter account. I effectively shuttered it back in April when Musk removed protection for trans people, but I kept the account active because (a) there are still a few people there who I like and who aren't on either Mastodon or Bluesky, and (b) the best view of a trainwreck is from inside the train.

Back in November, when I was in the process of closing my account, I got suspended midway process, so technically the account still exists. Fortunately, I got to change my handle to “Mastodon “, so no chance of someone else taking it over. I still miss some people especially with the recent killing of bird.makeup. I hate that Nazi man child and his little fans more than I hate #tfg.🤬
