Nah.. the other day I picked up a book in a bookstore and started reading the second last chapter of it while walking through town. When I got home I read the last chapter and afterwards started the book from the beginning. Sometimes I just read whatever chapter sounds best, judging by the title

Ah.. my rule of thumb is to read at least 50 pages of each book that I pick up and then judge it if I like the style/topic. Meaning that, if I do not like the first 50 pages, then I probably will not enjoy the rest of the book. With good books (the ones I enjoy) I usually do not notice the pages slipping through my fingers, and sobI’ll always finish an enjoyable book from cover to cover haha 😂 🤓
