I will never understand the female urge to have a set of pillows on the guest bed that only serve an aesthetic purpose and are objectively uncomfortable

Are you referring to the throw pillows, or the pillows that are supposed to be used by guests to sleep on?
I don't understand throw pillows on my own bed. I guess I could see them on a guest bed that rarely gets used, but is in a room that gets used. But you say uncomfortable one?! No! I love comfort way too much to do that to anyone!

It’s a guest room at my mother in law’s house, but the room is always closed and out of the way.
ALL of the pillows are throw pillows, and I have the throw most on the floor to sleep. I guess it looks good most of the time, but no one is looking at them except when they are about to sleep there.
She’s a cute lady and likes things to look nice but there is very little practicality to the bed haha
