I’ve been on nostr for like two years and they have been saying it’s right around the corner that whole time.
Many client devs have gotten together to this week to discuss building out and implementing NIP-104. This will give Nostr a truly private and secure messaging alternative to Telegram. Based on recent news, the timing is perfect. It's going to take a lot of time, development, and funding, but I have faith in their drive and their passion.
