For newcomers to the World of Bitcoin, here's a quick refresher:
Bitcoin is a decentralized network that operates without a central authority or intermediary. No single person, company, or organization controls or runs Bitcoin. Instead, Bitcoin relies on a peer-to-peer network of nodes that validate transactions and maintain a shared ledger called the blockchain. Anyone can join the network as a node or a user, and participate in the Bitcoin ecosystem. The network is secured by a consensus mechanism called proof-of-work, which requires nodes to compete in solving complex mathematical problems in order to add new blocks to the blockchain. The nodes that successfully solve the problems are rewarded with newly created bitcoins and transaction fees. #Bitcoin
