I met a few bitcoiners IRL tonight, which is rare for me. It was just delightful… It’s hard to describe just how fulfilling it is, to be a part of this.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve wanted to participate in some kind of thing that brings humanity higher, but the problems that need solving felt impossible.

Bitcoin offers, among other things, a financial incentive to do the “right” thing across a range of contexts.

This has gradually (and sometimes suddenly) restored my sense of hope and faith in human society.
