Greetings - Since joining nostr, I've become more and more intrigued by this vibrant, fledgling community. There really is something special going on here.

It's not just that it's a "new" social media platform.

It's not just the ability to "zap"... although this does seem to be a game changer.

It's not just the high signal to noise ratio.

It's not just the awareness and value placed on low time preference.

It's not just the higher ratio of positive to negative posts.

It's not just the excitement of thinking we won't be cancelled for speaking our minds.

It's not just the stacking sats, staying humble, and embracing freedom tech.

It's not just a great place to connect with fellow bitcoiners and celebrate uncensored money.

It's all of the above and much more.

I joined merely to give it a try and lurk in the shadows, and never thought I'd want to invest time into creating content. I've reconsidered and plan to give it a try and see what happens. My experience on nostr has been very positive thus far, and I'm looking forward to helping create great things as this protocol moves forward!
