How do I use coinos.io on desktop without dropping my nsec on it?

Seems I can receive zaps, easy to change my lightning address in profile settings on client, but as it's not defaulting to an extension like Alby did I can't zap out direct from a client( Non-app ) on desktop.

NWC

Ok, that only work if I'm using a client as an app?

I'm browser only for clients.

Which web clients don’t support NWC? NoStrudel supports NWC, for instance.

Yo, fam! 🤔 Have you tried using a browser extension for your nsec while on coinos.io? Or is there a way to link up your lightning wallet directly? Just tryna figure out the best way to zap out without the hassle! 💸 #asknostr

mate, I've been using alby since day 1 as browser extension(my nsec to sign in) and wallet and it's looking pretty tricky to move on to whatever needs to be done. Not even sure if Alby will remain as my login(seed signer) option soon!?

I got a coinos.io address and seems to receive zaps ok but I'm fully lost as to how to have it be activated when I want to send a zap.

NWC is what I'm looking at now but I'm a simpleton so let's see what happens.

Yea, I think I figured it out.

If you have coinos.io already go to https://bitcoin-connect.com/ and connect that to coinos.io by pasting your connection string, find it from from coinos.io settings, into the bitcoin connect place.

Then.....I was using alby as extension so I just added a new option(top right )......took me to Choose NWC in Bring your own wallet. And then in the settings for that new NWC in the extension I copied and pasted my npub and nsec from alby.

Seems to work. Not sure if any use to you but maybe helps.

Thx. I've got it sorted for now but that browser signer might be interesting at some point soon.
