Question for parents out there. How much do you agree with this statement.

"You should let kids just be kids for as long as possible."

Presented without further context on purpose. Would love to hear 1) how you take that and 2) whether you agree

I will forever take care of my children. Given they should be able to socially interact with others and to be productive and live meaningful lives.
