Remember Pleb Node Operators, you have voice even though the Core Devs don't want to hear it.

⚔️ Bitcoin Core Devs Set October Date for OP_RETURN Battle Victory

Bitcoin Core developers have scheduled version 30 for October, dramatically expanding OP_RETURN data limits from 84 bytes to nearly 4MB by default. This ostensibly ends a heated year-long debate between ‘progressives’ like Antoine Poinsot and Peter Todd versus ‘conservatives’ led by Luke Dashjr and Bitcoin Mechanic, who argue Bitcoin should focus solely on financial transactions. While node operators can manually override the new settings, most will probably stick with defaults, effectively cementing the progressives' victory. Meanwhile, rival client Knots’s user base have grown to 11.5% in the interim.

I don't think this is my hill to die on. Do I like core dev's making these choices? No. But do I trust a single dev with maintaining an alternative client? Also no. I think i will just keep 27.1 humming along. Maybe I'll upgrade to 29 at some point, maybe I'll do nothing.
