Silent link data service to the US is via roaming to Poland. All your traffic goes from the US to Poland, then back to the US. Using a proxy/VPN doesen't change the data entropy in and out of the country. I'm not a legal expert, but doesen't that mean you are asking the no-such-agencies to target your phone for monitoring? We all know the 5-eyes partnership lets them circumvent the 'policy' of not spying on US citizens, and there is no such thing as perfect security when they are in the business of finding and/or creating zero-day tools. Though I have nothing illegal to hide, I certainly don't want my business commerce and clients' trade secrets anywhere outside of my control. Don't get me wrong, silent.link is one of the good guys, but this is a concern of mine.
