it's this one btw

several people recommended the NIV as an accessible starting point though I'm sure I'll explore other versions in the future

Oh it's a protestant version. I'm no expert but was raised under catholic church, so I always make sure to read catholic approved versions.

I was raised Christian Orthodox, went to Catholic school, and am now reading this version of the Bible 🤣
