**NostrPlebs.com Supports Nostr Development**

Building a decentralized communication protocol has a cost, there's not only an incredible amount of development time, but a rising infrastructure cost too. We must support this community that we're so excited to participate in and that has been so supportive of our efforts over the last few weeks.

Starting today, January 6, 2023 at 7:00PM UTC and ending on January 7, 2023 at 7:00PM UTC, 50% of all NIP-05 registration fees collected during this 24 hour period will go towards the greater Nostr development community.

Tomorrow after this period ends, we will tally all of the sats that have been collected via registration fees, make the announcement here, and send them on their way.

Additionally, Nostr Plebs is also announcing the addition of two new domain names to our NIP-05 ID and services offerings. This brings our total domain offerings to five, giving our users a variety of choices when deciding upon their nostr identity.

I have registered the domain nostrpurple.com for cyph3rp9nk but I am having problems. Is it possible that it is because a public key cannot have two domains? previously it already existed in nostrplebs.com.

I understand that I will have to put another public key in the old domain to avoid problems.

the directory will only show 1 NIP-05 ID at a time. if you upgraded from a basic tier to a premium tier, which you did, the premium will only be shown.

the issue here is that some relays and clients aren't seeing your updated NIP-05 ID. I see it here on astral.ninja, but nostr.guru doesn't see it, and the 2 relays that we crawl also don't see the change yet.

this seems to happen to me a lot. for example, i still don't see Jack's change to cash.app.

Use rebroadcast button on nostr.guru and enter some comma separated wss:// when prompted

I've been using https://gateway.no.str.cr/ to find transactions that I need to see on more relays then rebroadcasting those to the relays that are missing the data. It's helped my loading times drastically because more relays have the data but would also help fix this issue.

PS I think we don't see Jack's change because he's not running the right CORS headers on the cashapp site for Astral to pick it up...i dont think damus requires that
