But given the target audience of this op ed and its very limited knowledge of things outside traditional social media, I thought to simplify and not introduce new terminology that needed explanation.
This is an excellent brief description of our problems and our opportunity. Interesting that he chose the words ” open social media platforms” to describe the decentralized firmament, rather than “fediverse.”
