I gotta say though, despite the fact that the company I work for has yet to take the orange pill, I’m happy working here.

I enjoy the work, I like my coworkers, and I respect the leadership team. They make grounded, responsible decisions and the company is succeeding as a result.

I feel regularly challenged to grow and learn, and believe I also bring unique value to my team.

It took a lot of “stepping stones” to get to this place, but it was worth the time and effort.

Find people to work with who you believe are smarter than you (or teammates who are more athletic, etc). In my experience, this is the best way to grow your own skills and confidence and become who you want to be.
