You cannot compare Mastodon to Nostr. You must compare Nostr to ActivityPub. Or Mastodon to any Nostr client. About free speech, you cannot prevent someone saying in real life also don’t you? FYI I’m also on Mastodon and know how the federation models works. Compared to the Nostr models there are trade-offs to both models. It’s up to you to choose what fits you best. 🫶🏻

when someone already made up her mind that nostr sucks, well it sucks not matter what you say, no need to defend nostr, just a waste of time. im here because i dont think it sucks
