Are any Nostr devs involved with this effort? Not that it's necessary but based on a cursory reading of the DID spec it seems like the Nostr protocol would fit right in

While I don’t speak for them, of course, I have had some past work experience with DID. I think it’s fair to say that nostr devs generally see it as unnecessarily complex, where a public private key pair would do (most of) the trick.
