Authors of the Bible are men, are men not allowed to reinterpret the word of God? Or are we to treat the authors of the Bible gods?

That's not quite what Christians believe.

>For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

[2 Peter 1:21](http://blb.org/kjv/2pe/1/21/), KJV

>All scripture is [breathed out] by God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness...

[2 Timothy 3:16](http://blb.org/kjv/2ti/3/16/), KJV

That was a question for you that went unanswered. Are you afraid of the discussion or just prefer to preach?

I'm not sure I follow your objection, but we are to treat the Word of God as the Word of God. The original post clearly implies that God should have "chosen" godly people. The gospel is precisely that "Christ died for the ungodly" and God's grace toward the ancient Israelites despite their persisitent ungodliness was an object lesson for the rest of us (who are also ungodly) so that "every mouth may be stopped."
