I’ve always been surprised Satoshi’s white-paper never mentioned the fixed supply of 21,000,000. While not a being technical innovation per se, it could have been included given how critical/central to the Bitcoin ethos it is. Whenever I send no-coiners to read the white-paper, I always get a question about it.
