I see more spam on twitter than I do on nostr. Which is insane to think about, considering they nostr is completely open, decentralized, and anyone can make as many accounts as they want.

I hate to say it, but give it time
Mostly we don’t see spam on Nostr because it’s not precieved as big and valuable enough to target. There is a lot more work to do.
There was a period of time where I did see spam on Nostr. But I think a bunch of clients added basic web of trust measures since then.
Of course there is more to do around that like preventing bot nets etc
