Portnoy is frustrating if you don't know him or really care about him getting Bitcoin.

If you're in the middle, you can see that he'd a degerate gambler and LOVES being the villain.

Bitcoin culture isn't a fit for him until he realizes that it's a fuck you to some people he hates
