I don't think a lot of them are gone for good, just kind of starting fresh, but it is a little bit disheartening.
I've been debating about starting a new identity for a minute. I won't abandon this one because I have public services attached to it, but I might be stepping back. Dunno yet.
Ha, in the process of doing the same thing. BitcoinLizard's days on Twitter are numbered. I think the domain and lightning/btcpay server will survive but no guarantees.
I have a new nym picked out as a Nostr identity but I'm not sure how much I'll post.
Like, part of my brain is telling me that getting shook and deleting your Nym and running away is exactly what, "they" want. But at the same time, I've gotten a little bit lax on this Identity. Plus the amount of public services I run. It would be hard to fully step back.
