Huayna Picchu is the tall, pointy, green mountain in the backdrop of any classic picture of the citadel of Machu Picchu. The Incas also constructed on those steep slopes.

To climb it, both hands and feet are necessary and that's why it's known as the “stairs of death”.

Stairs of death is right ☠️⚰️ 1 slip and your a goner. Super crazy people used those steps, most likely, how we use ours today. Very nonchalant

Love the photos of older places like this though. I like to study the architecture and design they used back then. True master craftsmanship building. Most lost to time sadly
