So apparently there is a mom that got arrested becuz her 10 year old went to the grocery store a half mile from their house while she took her older son to a practice for a sport .

Anyways the state said they would drop the charges if she got her 10 year old a phone (he did not have one) and track his location with an app .

She said she is not going to comply

The next day state sent CPS and took her to jail . Could be sentenced to 1 year .

Very dystopian to think in the not so distant future that as a parent it could be ILLEGAL for your child to NOT have a smartphone and ALSO track your child through an app .
