Deficit hand stand push up is a term from crossfit I think. It doesn't mean extra weight on the body but two plates or parallets on each side and your head goes between them so you "dip" below parallel/ 90 degrees/ of your elbows. Hope it makes sense.

AH... YES, so we were talking about the same thing.

Yeah, just allowing for a deeper handstand pushup really elevates (pun intended!!!) the workout.

Keeping perfect form with those is extremely hard. Body tends to arch.
