We have done a homemade chicken stock soup with chicken and some veggies. The chicken gets very tender and the bone broth is very nourishing.

You can also try chopped liver. Very nutrient dense and easy for a one year old to eat.

1 lb  beef liver

Butter or lard for cooking

1 large onion sliced

3 hard boiled eggs, peeled and diced

Salt, to taste

1/4 cup Mayonnaise (I add based on taste and texture)

Can provide instructions if you are interested.

This is great thank you so much. My biggest issue is he won’t try most things right now no matter how tasty they are. I think it’s learning independence as well

What things will he eat?

Fruit, waffles made from banana egg and oatmeal. Loves the butter on top. I make steak and potatoes and he’ll crush the potatoes but not the steak lately

You can also try a potato and meat hash, mixed in such that he cannot avoid the meat as easily.

Keep trying different things but don't stress over it. When they are that young they don't need a ton of variety and it sounds like he is getting protein with the eggs and yogurt (and breast milk if he is still nursing), as well as nourishment from the other foods you are providing.

Grass fed yogurt all day which is my saving grace
