I think you're missing an important part of the picture.
For a lot of people, life under this system feels hopeless. It’s depressing to work hard and still feel like you’re falling behind—like there’s no real way to save, no way out of the rat race, and no solid ground to build a future on. That kind of financial despair is real.
The term orange pill might sound gimmicky, but what it really means for many of us is offering someone a new perspective—one that can restore some agency and hope. Most people don’t stumble into complex ideas on their own. We’re not all born with the mind of Gauss, Newton, or Satoshi. We need teachers, mentors, or even just a well-timed YouTube video to help us understand things like math, science… or Bitcoin.
Sharing a Jack Mallers interview isn’t cultish—it’s like sending a documentary or podcast that connected with you, in case it might connect with someone else. Not everyone will get it, and that’s fine. But some will. And for them, it could be the start of something life-changing.
That being said, I don’t see it as shallow evangelism. I see it as caring enough to say: Hey, I found something that made me feel a little more hopeful or I found something that opened my eyes—maybe it could do the same for you.
I say be that person that helped someone find their way, be that person that helps someone see bitcoin is not all about NGU, its so much more.
