Yes, it's the second quarter in a row which is technically a recession.

(except in the US where definitions don't mean anything these days)

I think this is only the beginning. No/expensive energy, new green laws planned that will come expensive for house owners (and therefore everyone), rates still getting raised by the ECB and inflation still high.

The way they fix a recession is by increasing GDP (chasing the metric rather than the outcome).

Spending deficits & issuing more debt.

Boiling frogs with inflation constantly almost out of control, but not quite.
