Employer pizza parties are a shitcoin. My company had one today as thanks for hitting some metric. But obviously they’re a form of “🎪&🥖” to distract employees from asking for raises. I had a colleague at my last fiat mine decline all company handouts on principle for these reasons which I highly respected.
