🔐 I've always been a hodler, but lately I've been experimenting with various Bitcoin features, including on-chain payments and lighting networks.

⚡️ Every time I use LN, I get scared: it's super fast and very low fees.

⚠️ Because yes, there are network fees, mind you, but let's understand them: how much are they really?

💱 To understand Bitcoin's LN fees, we need to talk about the fiat system for a moment: the smallest fiat transaction can be one cent (euro, dollar or whatever).

🏆 LN fees are in the order of thousandths of a fiat, which means that to spend one cent in fees on the Bitcoin network you have to do 2 or 3 transactions that are secure and instantaneous, not like the fiat system. Crazy! 🤯
