I imagine it’s not as simple as which client has it because if you delete on one client it can still show up on another. It probably depends on which relays you are connected to and which ones actually delete when they’re told to. And even if you control the relays you publish to, your note can be broadcast to other relays. That’s my guess. I’m not a developer.

Yeah. This would test one of many possibilities.

I’m not trying to delete anything at the moment. My original comment was more about expressing alignment with the spirit of developers putting thought and energy into how to delete.

For a while, the sentiment was that deleting and giving users the option to delete was somehow antithetical to nostr. I’m glad we’re not there anymore.

Most major relays support delete. So if you post a typo on Damus for example and come to Nos to delete it. Then return to Damus or Primal the note will be gone assuming you are mostly on bigger public relays.
