You are doing great. I don't doubt it.

I tried printing paper Bitcoin wallets, but that requires a lot of tech to setup and use. These work out well as birthday gifts for average countries with fair internet. Just tell the receiver to keep it safe for when the time comes. Their children will for sure be able to use it.

Here I was referring to something like what we see in some African villages using SMS or whatever that doesn't require a tech setup aside from a cellular phone.

I'm positive it will happen! There are enough dreamers who think like us.

Yeah I hear you on the paper Bitcoin wallets.

Depending on where they are and how well I feel they are understanding what I’m explaining I will either have them get the Wallet of Satoshi and send them a few sats so they see it or I’ll have them get the blue wallet and also send them some sats so they can see how it works. In either case I also write down a few notes for them and tell them that when they have an amount that they consider ā€œa lot of moneyā€ to upgrade to the next level of storage. But each time it’s slightly different depending on the person.

I know it will happen because I know there are many like us.

But it’s CRAZY to me that complete strangers with so little money are interested in learning and willing to try this thing called Bitcoin, yet friends that I’ve known for years with millions in the bank are less interested - I suppose because they feel ā€œsafeā€ and everything ā€œworksā€ for them šŸ˜µā€šŸ’« and they know that if it hits 1M per #BTC tomorrow they still have enough money to live out their life + but 5-10 BTC (they just don’t realize that when that day comes buying a full coin won’t be as easy).

Nevertheless, it will work.
