i’m not sure you’re getting my point. When people are working collaboratively in an ensemble, they talk to each other as they work. That conversation is part of the way that they work. In that context, the whole notion of an interruption simply doesn’t come up. That is, the notion of an interruption is entirely grounded in the idea of one person working alone, which I don’t think is a particularly effective way to work no matter how “good” or “focused” that isolated individual is.
