I like the idea that freedom of speech is a critical buffer to violence

Ie you need to let everyone say what they want or risk making them so angry they fight

But when you apply this to content creation & where to post your work, it’s hard

- do you post only on Nostr, a place you know cannot be censored (a true expression of freedom of speech)

- do you post everywhere, including places you know might cancel you in the future (better reach potential but fraudulent)

It’s like the idea of “posting on Facebook means nothing, I am just having fun, I am not a criminal so what do I have to hide…”

You’re action and attention is inadvertently feeding a machine that by its definition has to “censor” speech

Ethics at play…

I post only on nostr.

I don’t know why.

Just feels better than the rest.

Hardly any engagement whore posts.

People just are people in here.

As it gets bigger it will change.

But right now, Nostr is my home.

It feels good I totally agree

I just feel so lost without the Russian war trolls... oh wait...nevermind.
