lol πŸ˜‚ NIP-94 is a way clients can share various file types. Amethyst has implemented it as the way they display images when users add them to posts. But since other clients don’t support for that use, or in many cases not at all yet, users on other clients can’t see images that Amethyst users are sharing.

The whole thing sound very Andriod anyway why am I not surprised

If I understand it correctly, the Amethyst version is using NIP-94 to hash image URLs to ensure a rogue server does not change whatever the url a Nostr note points to. This seems good. I don’t understand the other technical reasons about why this is problematic for other clients. Hoping the devs can come up with a good solution
