Bitcoins are divisible into 100 million units. These are called satoshis. There are about 3500 sats to $1 today.

You can use them to spread zappiness and joy on #Nostr, or spend them to join better relays, or save them forever.

It’s up to you! 💜⚡️🤙

This is INSANE

Pretty cool right? :)

The zaps are sent on the Lightning Network, which is a micropayment system for bitcoin.

You’re using #[5] so that app is holding it for you.

When you get more comfortable with using different bitcoin and Lightning wallets you’ll see that you can send them back and forth instantly, almost for free, and there’s no bank involved.

When you decide you need to have more (because, I mean, who wouldn’t?) you can learn about more secure ways to store them where only you are in control.

But that’s for a bit later in your rabbit hole journey. 🐰🕳️

I'm not sure to get everything but I promise I will try, at least! 😅

hahaha love to see this

Wait until tomorrow.

#Zapathon!

Less than 22 hours away. ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

What's that?

Should I take that as a compliment?😅👅
