Google just reminded everyone why self-custody matters.

The duopoly (App Store / Play) has too much (centralized) control over apps. Decentralization = Good, Centralization = Bad. We're Bitcoiners, after all, aren't we? In Asia, there's a 3rd App Gallery and it is huge. Also, Samsung and other major manufacturers do have their own bespoke app stores. Are app devs too lazy to make their apps available on as many app platforms as possible? Myopic, if so imho.
