Not sure I have an answer to this, but makes me think of nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a ‘s #BrokenMoney and how commodity monies rise due to scarcity (as measured by sock/flow) and wide distribution.

My guess is that #bitcoin’s success or failure as a medium of exchange will depend on its distribution and transaction properties (fees and speed).
