Not 'community owned' but got a small local grocery store in town that has top quality shit for very reaonable prices. And raw milk.

Nice. We have a private owned one just starting out this year, I've been getting veggies and milk and just this week they started selling grass feed beef, though I can drive a 70 mile round trip and pick the beef up from their supplier for cheaper.
I got quite a few other great local options as well. A local butcher shop, a direct dairy farm to consumer, and in the overall area (I live in a valley), we got at least 15 year round farmers markets plus a bunch of seasonal ones. Other than things like toilet paper and such, I have no need for grocery chains. And surprisingly, and contrary to what most people tend to think, its cheaper at the local spots than the grocery chains. Oh, and even got a bison farm couple miles down the road, and my god is that some good bison
Same. A number of ranches on the Beef Initiative website are in my area and a couple of local butcher shops and my friend has a cattle ranch. I also hunt and fish. We have a few farmer markets, but they are about done until spring. Not a big population so there isn't a lot here. And now we have this new locally owned store, they don't have a lot yet, I do get my weekly allotment of milk there and sometimes some veggies, not a big veggie eater, but I like them.
