Alexa or Siri can’t really do what this can. Where it really shines, in my opinion, is with the learning mode, where you can teach it complex workflows that use multiple apps to accomplish things.
Theoretically you could teach it something like zapping. Or any microtransaction outside of the App Store
Oh no, I am not saying Alexa can do what this does. I am just saying why would Apple or Google block it? it's just an App.
Let’s say you teach it a workflow that would like this note, copy the ln adress from the profile and go to a wallet app to send 50 sats to the address. Then you have a workflow doing a micro payment outside of Apple or google’s ecosystem. Plenty of apps were removed from the App Store for micropayments outside the ecosystem.
I do agree that eventually, the functionality of the R1 (with some parts removed) will be integrated in Apple or google assistants. I guess they need to see demand for it first. Something that devices like these can provide.
