I used to say we need a real businessman to run the country to get us back on track

Then finally I technically got what I asked for

In a cosmic humor kind of way

I was reminded of all the reasons I hated businessmen and opted out of a corporate lifestyle before I even got halfway through grade school

Life is funny like that

Maybe karma is real

Maybe it's just our brains trying to make connections to assure ourselves that there is some sort of higher power and order in the universe

Even if it's a rendition of string theory

But in the end the result is of feeling like being in a monkey's paw scenario

And this is probably why people tell you to be careful what you wish for
