Please clarify. Are you saying Bitcoin is dying out because all glassnode stats I'm looking at indicate adoption is actually going up across all metrics disregarding price.

Also Fedi is a better what? Layer 2? Fedi is just one of many scaling solutions that bitcoin will need to fulfill the dream of becoming a global digital money. Fedi tradeoffs though are deep and wide and if you fall down that particular rabbit hole you end up finding #monero at the bottom.

Both feed off each other (BTC and XMR) and neither can survive long term without the other imo.
