Blue wavelength light is the most diffracted by the eye and so causes the most blurring. Amber removes the blue and improves contrast. It’s why professional drivers and pilots often use amber lenses.

are these maxwell glasses from ra optics? if so i have a pair and tbh i love them! slightly too big for my face but i use them every night when watchin the telly and when on my phone. going to get the white frame popp daylight glasses to use for the day.
