At the end of the project each guy was owed $1,000 for the work.

I gave them all the same offer.

You can have $1,000 cash or 2 bitcoin’s.

We can't judge them from the perspective of now. In 2016 if I'm not mistaken BTC was around 300-600$, they made a "correct" decision pondering it in the short term (very short term 🤣)
