blowing up memory is something that i am always watching out for... i have seen C++ and haskell projects fail to build because of memory use... the fix was to run the compilation as a single thread
"worse" computers are increasingly 8gb now, not often you encounter anything smaller... even my 2 year old mobile has 8gb memory in it
the bloat problem WILL get worse over time, but i can assure you that javascript, web browsers, c++ et al, the staples of mainstream programming, will be the last to actually care about it
Mine has 1 GB. My phone is much faster.

well, my phone has 4 actually, i think, can't even see this in the interface lol, but the model does have 6 and 8gb variants
