Ok so I forgot because mine is white and in liquid state I don't remember it to be yellow. Maybe it's because I buy cheap super market meat/tallow.

Tallow definitely shouldn’t be liquid at room temp

No it isn't. I mean colour. Mine is white as snow when cold. I just don't remember if it was yellow in liquid state. I've done it only once before. Have to use old stock of pork fat before I'll go tallow only.
