The state of the internet as it is currently is so disappointing. I remember reading nostr:npub1sn0wdenkukak0d9dfczzeacvhkrgz92ak56egt7vdgzn8pv2wfqqhrjdv9 ‘s book wherein he was describing the early internet- and what a wondrous place it was. So many ideas and so much info.

Now 😞 it’s curated rubbish and half the stuff is AI generated gibberish. Or repeats of the same “safe and allowed” website which I have zero desire to read or hear from.

Apologies for the rant, my disappointment runs deep today.

It's annoying. But, how are you searching? There's a lot of better stuff out there if you can Cyrene hours you're looking for it.

Thanks! I’ve just started so my initial searches are likely quite primitive.

It was just a quick search on my topic to see what was available and to see if there were any threads I could pick up. Ideas I could follow etc.

I’d love to hear your ideas on how I should be searching if you are keen to share?

Yes I realised my mistake, my hopeful heart remains naive indeed.

Was hoping for some direction, a place to start not end. It used to be like that, one could find little gems in the dirt. Now, just dirt.
