And in just one sentence (+ an emoji) we learn just why nostr is better than all the other centrally-controlled social media platforms.
Hint: nostr is a protocol not a platform
Hint: like bitcoin, it is permission-less, no central authority can deny you access to use it
On Nostr, you verify yourself. No need to pay for a check from an authority that may or may not grant them. With your own domain, you can have your own check. It’s way better than the blue checks on twitter. You can get “verified” by other services if you wish, should you choose.
