I worry about this a lot. Every friend I've ever helped get a hardware wallet to protect their stack is at risk of falling victim to the most bullshit form of phishing like what happened with the Blockstream emails people saw come through this week, urgently insisting that users upgrade their firmware. I have to constantly stay on guard for them, because they aren't in these circles. They just exist and HODL in normie world.

I have it bookmarked, I tried yesterday but too many interruptions that I had to put it on hold.. but tomorrow morning I have some quiet time that I’ve booked out for this.
Almost all the way through and I feel quite ill. It’s not unexpected but to hear all the pieces put into one big ugly picture… I need to go and think about it all and what I’m going to do.
I’m mostly there but I am alone on my island here, family and friends don’t see it or get it. I’ve tried so hard to get them to join me, see it etc but no deal.

CISA means they are breaching anyone and everyone's systems.
i don't know what level of paranoia is required but i am now running a security hardened kernel variant on all my systems and assuming that breaches will be attempted, if i somehow have been flagged.
considering that my systems have been fully breached at least twice in the last 18 months or so, i'd say they have already meticulously scanned all my stuff and discovered that i'm a lone nut with a mission to gtfo of their way not fighting tyvm.
but i expect that some other spook agency will attempt to breach me so i'm gonna do my best to make it difficult.
i haven't done it yet but planning to put my browser inside a VM next.
probably next sunday.
also using keepassxc to isolate the browser from my passwords, and using very long, very complex passwords so casual attacks are excluded.
